Authorities say a Billings teenager in a stolen car fled from police before crashing the vehicle. The Billings Gazette reports an officer spotted a speeding 1990 Honda Accord Saturday morning. The driver did not stop for the officer, who ended his pursuit. A Billings Police Department statement says the stolen car slid off Interstate 90 and crashed about a half-hour later. The statement says the 15-year-old boy resisted arrest and the officer from the attempted traffic stop identified him as the same driver. Police say the car was stolen on Friday night. Officers also found two rifles that had been stolen in a Friday burglary. The driver was turned over to Youth Services for traffic offenses, possession of stolen property and possession of drugs.
