Jacksonville, FL : Driver critical after pickup truck crashes into river Monday morning, November 3, 2014

A person was ejected from a vehicle, and the car landed in the St. Johns River early Monday morning. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened around 2:30 a.m. in the 4200 block of State Road A1A, which is just north of Wonderwood Drive. JSO said the road was completely blocked off due to the investigation for a couple of hours. JSO said the driver lost control of the vehicle, left the road, overturned and landed in the St. Johns River. The driver of the vehicle was ejected during the incident.
