MIDDLESEX, VE : Drunk woman in crash on Wednesday, December 7th 2016

A Northfield woman was drunk when she crashed her car in Middlesex Wednesday, according to Vermont State Police.

Police say Beracah Sullivan, 37, was driving on East Hill Road when she hit a tree. Police say Sullivan gave a preliminary breath test which showed she had a blood alcohol content of 0.259 percent, well over the legal limit of 0.08 percent.

She is scheduled to appear in Washington County criminal court on Dec. 22 to answer the charge of driving under the influence.
