POULTNEY, VT : Elderly woman hurt in crash on Saturday, October, 7th 2017

Police responded to a car crash on Route 140 that injured a woman on Saturday.

Police were called around 3 p.m. after a vintage 1963 Triumph TR4 driven by Peter W. Fullam, 76, of Clifton Park, New York, left the road about 200 ft. north of Town Farm Road and struck a utility pole, causing damage to the right side of the car. It had been raining and the road was wet when the accident happened.

The driver’s wife, Dianne Fullam 72, sustained minor injuries and was taken to the Rutland Regional Medical Center.

Police said neither speed or impaired driving were contributing factors, and both passengers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
