Conway , SC : Victim identified in deadly motorcycle crash on Highway 90 on Friday, June 19th 2015

A motorcyclist died after crashing into a vehicle Friday on Highway 90 near the intersection of East Cox Ferry Road, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Walter Curtis Bass, 27, of Conway died from the injuries he received in the wreck, according to Horry County Coroner Michelle McSpadden.

The crash happened half a mile east of Conway just after 11 a.m.

Highway Patrol said the driver of a Chevrolet was traveling east on Highway 90 and failed to yield to Bass while making a left turn in to a parking lot.

Bass hit the right side of the Chevrolet.

Bass was not wearing helmet, according to Highway Patrol.

The crash is under investigation.
