LIVERPOOL, NY : Car crashes into guardrail on I-90 West, temporarily backs up traffic on Saturday, August 5, 2017

A car crashed into a guardrail on the New York State Thruway, I-90 West, in Liverpool early Saturday afternoon causing traffic backups, according to the Thruway Transportation Center.
The left lane was temporarily blocked off while crews worked to clear the scene.
Onondaga County 911 dispatchers say the accident was reported as a vehicle into a guardrail near exit 38 with injuries.
It happened around 1:00 p.m. The Liverpool Fire Department and Rural Metro Ambulance responded to the crash.
At this time it is unclear how many people were injured or how serious the injuries were.
