PORTLAND, OR : 1 dead, 1 injured in crash in NE Portland on Monday, 28th October 2024

One person was killed and another person was injured in a two-car crash in northeast Portland early Monday morning.

At about 6:40 a.m., officers were called to a crash near Northeast Halsey Street and Northeast 118th Avenue. Officers arrived to the scene and found one person dead. The name of the person who died has not yet been released.

A second person was taken to an area hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries is not known.
