LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC : Head-on I-20 crash kills one driver, injures another in Lexington County on Sunday, 20th August 2023

Authorities have identified a man killed in a wrong-way crash that also injured four others on Interstate 20 in Lexington County early Sunday morning.
Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the crash happened just before 2 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the interstate at mile marker 53 between the exits to Longs Pond Road and South Lake Drive. Ridgeway said a 2015 Nissan sedan was traveling east in the westbound lanes and struck a Chevrolet SUV head-on.
