Talkeetna, AK : Pedestrian seriously injured in Talkeetna hit-and-run collision on Friday, 14th February, 2020

A pedestrian was seriously injured after he was struck by a vehicle in Talkeetna on Friday, troopers said.

A 22-year-old man was walking on the shoulder of Talkeetna Spur Road near mile 13 when he was hit from behind by a vehicle around 7:40 p.m., troopers wrote in an online statement. The man has significant injuries and troopers said he was transported by air to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center.

The driver left the scene and has not been identified, troopers said.

The investigation is ongoing and troopers are asking anyone with information to call 907-745-3333.
