Maryland City, MD : Two people killed after head-on collision on Route 28 in Barnstead on Tuesday May 31, 2016.

Two men died as a result of a head-on collision Tuesday night in Maryland City, a county fire department spokesman said.
The men were identified on Wednesday by police as Cesar Dayan Peguero Guzman, 25, of Hyattsville and Godfred Paa Kwesi Dzansi, 39, of Gaithersburg.
Firefighters and police were dispatched shortly after 10 p.m. to the 3300 block of Laurel Fort Meade Road near the Baltimore Washington Parkway for a report of an automobile accident, county officials said.
Witnesses saw a white 2007 Chevrolet Impala, driven by Guzman, headed eastbound on Laurel Fort Meade Road at a "very high rate of speed," county police said.
Guzman failed to stop for a red light at Russett Green Drive, a witness told police.
After crossing the Baltimore Washington Parkway, police said Guzman crossed the center line, skidded and struck a 2015 Toyota Camry driven by Dzansi, head-on.
