UTICA, NY : A New Hartford man was killed in a motorcycle-car accident on Wednesday, June 28, 2017

A New Hartford man was killed in a motorcycle-car accident that happened just before 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Ian Bullen, 19, died at St. Elizabeth Campus of the Mohawk Valley Health System following the crash at Genesee Street and Arlington Road, police said.

The driver of the sedan was Marc Jonas, 66, of Utica, police said.

A passenger in Jonas’ vehicle suffered injuries that weren’t life-threatening, officials said.

The Utica Police Accident Reconstruction Unit has commenced an investigation into the cause of the accident, and that investigation is on-going, officials said.
