Cartersville ,GA : Car bursts into flames after I-75 wreck on June, Tuesday 27th 2017

A two-vehicle accident on Interstate 75 northbound Tuesday resulted in a car bursting into flames, according to Bartow County EMS?Public Information Officer Brad Cothran.

The wreck backed up traffic along the interstate at the Emerson exit after it occurred around 4:30 p.m.

The wreck was caused when a passenger car ran into the rear of a tractor trailer, causing the car to burst into flames.

The passenger was able to exit the vehicle. Bartow County EMS and other agencies responded and found the male driver of the passenger car. He was found to have minor injuries and was transported to Cartersville Medical Center for treatment.
