Mentor, OH: One women dies in School bus and passenger car crash at intersection of Garfield roads on Thursday morning, 6th November 2014

Police and the Ohio Highway Patrol confirm that one woman died at MetroHealth Medical Center after being taken there following a Thursday morning accident. Police said that at 6:38 a.m. Thursday, the Mentor Police and Fire departments responded to an injury accident at the intersection of Johnnycake Ridge and Garfield roads. The accident involved a Mentor School Bus and a passenger car. The driver of the car, Jennifer T. Cribbs, 62, of Mentor, was taken to Lake West Hospital in Willoughby and then transferred to MetroHealth Medical Center. Cribbs later died from her injuries. There were no injuries to the bus driver or any of the occupants of the bus. Police are asking that anyone who may have witnessed this accident contact the Police Department at (440) 974-5760 and ask for Ptl.
