Madbury,NH : Cyclist hurt in hit-and-run in Madbury on August, Tuesday 1st 2017

A bicyclist was hurt after a hit-and-run collision with a vehicle on Tuesday night, police said.
According to police, Mark Dudley, 57, of Dover, was riding his bike when he was struck by a motor vehicle on Route 9 a little before 7 p.m. Police said they found the man conscious on the ground with serious injuries. Police said passing motorists had stopped to assist but the motorist that struck the cyclist did not stop.Members of New Hampshire State Police Troop A as well as the New Hampshire State Police Collision Accident Reconstruction Unit responded to the scene to investigate the crash.Dudley was transported to Portsmouth Hospital, police said. It is believed the vehicle that struck the cyclist has front end damage and a flat front tire on the passenger’s side, according to police.Assisting the New Hampshire State Police at the scene was the Madbury Fire Department and Madbury Police Department.
