Rockport, IN : A man is killed in a car and a 3 wheel ATV crash at Intersection of Highland Rd. and Country Road 550 On Thursday, June 23rd, 2016

A man is dead after a crash in Spencer County.

According to the Spencer Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to a call at the intersection of Highland Rd. and Country Road 550 in Grandview Indiana.

The crash involved a car and a 3 wheel ATV. The driver of the ATV was identified as 58-year-old Larry Winkler.

Winkler was turning onto Highland Rd. from Country Road on his ATV when he did not see the car traveling northbound on Highland Rd.

The car struck the ATV. Winkler was transported to Owensboro Mercy Hospital for injuries.

He was pronounced dead after arriving from the hospital.
