Omaha, NE : La Vista woman dies following crash near 144th and Q streets on Saturday, September 20, 2014

Omaha police say a La Vista, Nebraska, woman has died after her car hit a pole near 144th and Q streets. The call came shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday. Witnesses told investigators that a driver of white Volkswagen was headed southbound on 144th Street and was driving erratically. Shortly after, the car crashed into a pole. Ashley Carter, 29, died later at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center. Police are still investigating the cause of the crash. Source : La Vista woman dies following crash
