Waukesha, WI : A man has been killed and three other was injured in a afternoon crash at Highway 16 On Monday, May 2nd, 2016
A Monday afternoon crash on Highway 16 killed a man and injured three others, including two children, authorities said.
The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department said a 30-year-old Waukesha man was traveling westbound just before 3:30 p.m. when he lost control of his car and struck a
westbound pickup truck driven by Paul Parsons.
Both vehicles then left the roadway and hit a guardrail and a bridge pillar before the pickup truck rolled over, the Sheriff's Department said.
Parsons, 76, from Berlin, was transported by helicopter to Froedtert Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Two grandchildren in his truck, ages 6 and 7 years, were
both treated at Children's Hospital and released.
The Waukesha driver of the Ford Focus was treated at Waukesha Memorial Hospital and released.
The crash closed Westbound Highway 16 for about five hours.
