HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA : Crash slows down 405 Freeway near Huntington Beach on Saturday, 16th December 2023

A car accident blocked the fast-track lane of the 405 Freeway near Huntington Beach for hours before eventually clearing out.
The delay started around 11:30 a.m. Saturday, causing major delays for several hours before eventually returning to normal.
The crash occurred at the center divider on the 405 North Freeway at Westminster Ave (Exit 19). Traffic is stopped and gridlocked at this time, backed up to Warner Ave (Exit 15).
The crash remains under investigation.
