MARION, KS : Adult child killed in Marion County crash on Wednesday, 13th December 2023

The Kansas Highway Patrol identified the victim in Wednesday morning’s crash as 43-year-old Jessica Henson of Wamego. She died at the scene.Two people died Wednesday morning in a crash in Marion County.

The deadly crash happened around 11:20 a.m. on US-56/77 near 250th Road, northeast of Marion and south of Lincolnville.

Trooper Ben Gardner with the Kansas Highway Patrol said the Kansas Department of Transportation was flagging traffic in a construction zone. The semi was stopped in the zone and was rear-ended by a passenger car.
