Fort Myers,FL : 4 injured after SUV crash on August, Wednesday 2nd 2017
An SUV with four teens inside burst into flames after slamming into a tree near a Fort Myers commercial center Wednesday morning.
Police said the vehicle was heading east on Red Cedar Drive around 8:30 a.m. when the driver lost control.
Firefighters arrived and rescued the victims and quickly put out the blaze. The teens suffered serious injuries, but police said they are not life-threatening.
A tow truck removed the SUV from the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
