Inez, TX : Three Freer residents injured in a one-vehicle rollover crash in northeast Victoria County on Tuesday afternoon, June 28, 2016
A one-vehicle rollover crash in northeast Victoria County sent three Freer residents to the hospital Tuesday afternoon.
A northbound green 2002 Cadillac Escalade wrecked on U.S. Highway 59 in Inez, said Trooper Ruben San Miguel, spokesman for the Department of Public Safety.
The Escalade entered the center median about 2:10 p.m. and rolled onto its roof after its right, rear tire blew out for an unknown reason, San Miguel said.
Driver Jesus Clarke, 34, passengers Rebecca Rae Garza, 24, and her 5-year-old daughter, were on their way to Houston at the time of the wreck.
All three were taken to Citizens Medical Center.
Although San Miguel was unsure of the severity of their injuries, he said he thought all three to be in stable condition.
At 7:30 p.m., a hospital official said Garza and Clarke were no longer at the hospital. The condition of Clarke's daughter would not be revealed because she is a minor.
