Maryville, MO : A Hopkins teenager suffered serious injuries on April, Saturday 22nd 2017
A Hopkins teenager suffered serious injuries Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle accident in the 600 block of East Barnard Street in Hopkins.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Dalton D. Peve, 17, was eastbound on Barnard Street when he lost control of the 2000 Yamaha and struck a curb.
Peve was thrown from the motorcycle and struck a utility pole. He was not wearing a helmet.
The driver was transported by ambulance to Mosaic Health Care in St. Joseph.
Damage to the motorcycle was described as moderate.
Trooper D.E. Sigman worked the accident with assistance from the Nodaway County Sheriff’s Office.
