Oskaloosa, IA : 62-year-old Georgie Crews killed, and two injured in collision on Highway 92 in Mahaska County on Saturday, January 23, 2016

An Oskaloosa woman was killed following a crash in Mahaska County on Saturday.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, the crash happened at approximately 7 p.m. on Highway 92 three miles west of Oskaloosa.

An SUV initially became disabled and stopped in the eastbound lane. After the two occupants of the SUV exited the vehicle, a pickup truck driven by 62-year-old Georgie Crews struck the rear of the SUV.

Crews was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene, according to authorities.

The two occupants of the SUV did suffer injuries and are being treated at a nearby hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
