Alcohol abuse may be a factor in a motorcycle wreck which left a woman with serious injuries Saturday, said the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Michelle Chisenhall, 47, of Milford and Richard Parsons, 48, of Goshen Township, were riding a 2006 Harley Davidson north on Gaynor Road when Parsons lost control coming around a curve and overturned, according to the highway patrol.
When police arrived at the scene, they found the motorcycle in a field, Clermont County officials said.
Chisenhall was taken by Air Care helicopter to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in serious condition, officials said. Chisenhall was later released from the hospital, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said Monday.
Parsons had minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital.
Neither wore helmets at the time of the crash, but they were wearing some protective clothing, according to highway patrol.
An investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
