PORTLAND, OR : 1 dead, suspect arrested for manslaughter in crash in Buckman neighborhood on Sunday, 25th February 2024

A man died in a crash in Portland's Buckman neighborhood early Sunday morning and a driver was arrested for manslaughter, according to the Portland Police Bureau.

Around 2:45 a.m., police responded to a crash involving a pedestrian and car along with reports of gunshots being fired near Southeast Belmont Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
