Memphis,TN : 3 hospitalized after shots fired in crash on may, monday 8th 2017

Three women are in the hospital after police said they were shot at and their car crashed out.

The car crashed out at the corner of Lamar Avenue and Winchester Road early Monday morning. The women said they were driving on Lamar when someone in a two-door Infinity opened fire at them. They said the shooter is someone they know.

After the shots were fired, the driver lost control and hit a wall, causing the car to overturn.

All three were taken to the hospital in non-critical condition, but one of the victims was later downgraded to critical condition. Police said one of the women was shot.

Police have not released any information on a possible suspect.
