Man driving without a license struck an Apopka police car near Parramore on Wednesday, Florida Highway Patrol troopers said.
Margarito Hernandez, 31, of Orlando was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. He was ticketed for careless driving and having no valid driver’s license. FHP Sgt. Kim Montes said he never obtained a driver’s license.
Montes said Hernandez was driving on Orange Blossom Trail near Central Boulevard. Apopka Police Officer Ariel Carrion, 38, was driving in the opposite direction.
