Port Charlotte, FL : A pedestrian was killed in a Port Charlotte accident on Monday, December, 11th 2017

A pedestrian was killed in a Port Charlotte accident Tuesday afternoon, according to a Charlotte County Fire/EMS Deputy Chief Michael Davis. The crash occurred at the intersection of Veterans Boulevard and Theresa Boulevard around 2:20 p.m.

The four-door sedan hit the pedestrian with the front of the car and sustained moderate to heavy damage. All four lanes were closed for approximately two hours.
