HUBER HEIGHTS, OH : Huber Heights police cruiser involved in crash on Thursday, 3rd January 2019

A Huber Heights police cruiser was involved in a crash Thursday afternoon.

Officials say the officer was responding to a call and traveling south on Harshmanville Road.

He was in a marked cruiser with his overhead lights on, and as he entered the intersection of Longford Road he was struck by a second vehicle.

A medic was requested as a precaution, but no injuries were reported.

The crash remains under investigation.
