Quincy, MA : Four people were hospitalized after a silver Subaru Legacy crashed through the front doors of Wild Willy’s Burgers at Washington Street restaurant on Tuesday, July 19, 2016

Four people were hospitalized Tuesday afternoon after a silver Subaru Legacy crashed through the front doors of Wild Willy’s Burgers in Quincy.

Quincy Police Captain Allan Gillan said the crash occurred at 12:39 p.m., when the driver of the car, a 90-year-old man, smashed through the front of the Washington Street restaurant.

Gillan said a father and his two teenage daughters inside the restaurant sustained nonlife-threatening injuries from the crash and were taken to South Shore Hospital in Weymouth for treatment. The driver of the car was also

taken to South Shore Hospital as a precaution, the police captain said.

According to Gillan, the cause of the crash is still unclear.

A phone call Tuesday afternoon to Wild Willy’s went through to a message that said the call could not be completed.
According to the website for Wild Willy’s, which has five New England locations, the Quincy location opened at 11 a.m. Tuesday.

WCVB reporter Todd Kazakiewich posted a photo of the scene from inside restaurant.
Police announced shortly before 2:30 p.m. that the vehicle had been removed and emergency crews were clearing the scene.
