Mesa, AZ : Man dies in Mesa rollover crash near University Drive and Greenfield Road on Thursday, 28th November, 2019

A man who was seen driving recklessly in Mesa died in a rollover crash Thursday afternoon, according to police officials.

Mesa police received a few phone calls just before the crash about "a speeding and reckless driver in a pickup truck," said Nik Rasheta, a Mesa police spokesman, in an email.

Police say it appears the driver of the pickup truck, identified as 58-year-old Steven Ketchum, clipped another vehicle and rolled over around 3 p.m. on Thursday near University Drive and Greenfield Road in Mesa.

Ketchum was pronounced dead at the scene.
