TUCSON, AZ : Authorities respond to crash on Orange Grove on Monday, 5th August 2024

Authorities said they arrested a woman after they say she hit and killed a motorcyclist in Tucson late Monday, Aug. 5.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department responded to reports of a crash involving a motorcycle at the intersection of E. Orange Grove Road and North Shadow Bluff Dr.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they found 53-year-old Michael Rivers with life-threatening injuries. He was taken to the hospital where he died.

Detectives with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department Traffic Unit responded to collect evidence, process the scene, and interview witnesses.
