2 killed, 3 injured in Salem crash

A crash between a pickup truck and a car in Salem killed an adult and a child Tuesday night.
Salem police told KATU that the crash happened on Turner Road SE, just south of Airway Drive. Paramedics rushed three other people to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police reopened Turner Road SE around 11:40 p.m. Tuesday night.
