FRANKFORT, KY : 1 killed in fiery crash on Interstate 64 in Franklin County on Wednesday, 27th February 2019

Franklin County authorities say all lanes have cleared after a fiery wreck killed one.The crash happened near the 58 mile marker around 2 p.m.

Westbound lanes were blocked for hours because of the crash. Motorists had to detour off the highway in Woodford County at exit 65 to U.S. 421.

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office says a vehicle got on Interstate 64 using the wrong ramp. Moments later, the wrong-way vehicle crashed into two others. The person in the wrong-way vehicle died. The others involved are expected to survive.

The rollover crash led to a vehicle catching fire.
