RENO COUNTY, KS : 1 killed, 3 injured in Reno County crash on Monday, 24th June 2019

One person is dead, three others seriously injured after a Monday-afternoon, one-vehicle crash near Arlington in Reno County.

The Reno County Sheriff's Office says about 2:05 p.m., deputies responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash on the west edge of Arlington.

"When deputies arrived, they discovered one vehicle on its top," the sheriff's office says.

The sheriff's office says the person who died from his injuries was ejected from the vehicle. The three others who suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries were the only other occupants of the vehicle.

The preliminary investigation indicates the vehicle was traveling east on Arlington Road when it approached "S" curves leading into Arlington, the sheriff's office says. It says the vehicle continued off the roadway and into the northbound ditch. It then rolled into a field.

Monday night, the sheriff's office says it's not releasing names of the person killed nor of those injured until notifications have been made.
