WAGNER, SD : 4 dead following Tuesday crash in southeast South Dakota on Tuesday, 16th February 2021

Four people died and another person was injured Tuesday night, Feb. 16, in a two-vehicle crash in southeast South Dakota.

The South Dakota Department of Transportation said the crash occurred at 6:10 p.m. at the intersection of State Highways 46 and 50, about 2 miles west of Wagner, S.D.


Names of the five people involved are not yet being released pending notification of family members.

Three individuals in a 2003 Chrysler Sebring — a 31-year-old female driver, a 28-year-old female passenger, and a 33-year-old male passenger — died in the crash. A 64-year-old woman driving a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee was pronounced dead at the scene.
