Two men were injured in a rollover wreck early Thursday after the driver of a car led deputies on chase near Happy Valley just south of Redding, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Officers at about 12:30 a.m. responded to the crash on Happy Valley Road north of Majestic View Drive, about a mile west of Highway 273 at Happy Valley Road.

There, they found Nicholaus Garcia, the passenger in a 1995 Acura Integra, with injuries to his face from the wreck. The Acura had been involved in a chase with deputies just before the wreck, according to the CHP.

The driver, 18-year-old Andrew Keluchie, of Redding, ran from the wreck and was found nearby by a sheriff's deputy, the CHP said.

Keluchie suffered broken ribs in the rollover and was arrested on suspicion of felony evading, felony hit and run and driving without a license. Garcia wasn't arrested.
