DAVENPORT, FL : Deadly crash near Davenport causes traffic on Tuesday, 28th November 2023

A deadly crash completely shut down a portion of U.S. 17/92 north of Davenport for hours, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

It happened around 4:20 a.m. Tuesday on U.S. 17/92 near Ernie Caldwell Boulevard located north of the city of Davenport. Both directions of U.S. 17/92 were closed in the area until 10 a.m.
