Phoenix, FL : Six people injured, some trapped in multi-vehicle crash at 39th and Dunlap avenues on Tuesday afternoon, April 28, 2015

A rush-hour crash left six people hurt at a busy Phoenix intersection Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters worked frantically to free several trapped occupants.

The collision happened shortly before 5 p.m. at 39th and Dunlap avenues.

Those rushed to a nearby trauma center included a 20-year-old man, a 20-year-old woman and a 4-year-old boy.

A fourth patient was a 21-year-old woman. A 2-year-old boy and a 35-year-old man were also injured.

No names were released. Phoenix Fire Capt. Benjamin Santillan said none of the rescuers were hurt.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
