Brumley,MO : Brumley man seriously injured in Miller County crash on May,Tuesday 22nd 2018

A Brumley man was seriously injured in a crash Tuesday in Miller County that sent a pickup truck airborne.

Emmett F. Scott, 80, was driving a 2004 Ford Ranger east on Missouri 42 when at about 7:19 p.m., after passing Blackmore Road, the truck travelled off the right side of the road.

The Ranger hit a culvert, went airborne, returned back to Missouri 42, slid across the road and off the left side of it, overturned, and struck a tree before coming to rest.

Scott was wearing a seat belt. He was airlifted to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
