Indianapolis, IN : Jeremy Dreher, 37, dead in a single-vehicle crash at south split early Sunday morning, March 27, 2016

Indiana State Police (ISP) tell Eyewitness News that one person was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning. The man killed in the crash was identified Sunday afternoon as Jeremy Dreher, 37, of Indianapolis.

It happened in the southbound lanes of I-65 at the south split, just south of downtown around 2 a.m. ISP say the the crash ended with the Dreher's car inverted on the highway.

Dreher failed to negotiate the split, and traveled off the roadway, going up the earth embankment, became airborne and struck a guard rail. He was ejected from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries.
