BEAUFORT COUNTY, SC : 5 killed in multi-vehicle Beaufort Co. crash on Wednesday, 29h May 2024

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating after a Wednesday night crash left five people dead in Beaufort County.

The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. on Sea Island Parkway east of Beaufort.

A BMW sedan was trying to pass a Toyota pickup truck while going south on Sea Island Parkway when it hit a Honda sedan going north head-on, Master Trooper William Bennett said.
