PHILIPPI, WV : Philippi woman dies in Saturday car crash on Saturday, February 25th 2017

A Philippi woman was killed in a single vehicle accident early Saturday morning, according to Philippi Police Chief Jeff Walters.

Amber Dawn Marks, 24, was a passenger in the vehicle that crashed about 1:49 a.m. Saturday on John Street in Philippi, he said.

The Philippi Police Department is continuing to investigate the crash. Also responding were the Philippi Fire Department and the Barbour County Emergency Squad.
