Tractor-trailer crash injures two people in Vandalia on I-75

An accident involving a car and a tractor-trailer sent two people to the hospital Tuesday morning.

It happened on northbound I-75 north of I-70 when the car ran into the back of the semi.

The driver and the passenger in the car were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The truck driver was not injured.

One lane of traffic was blocked until police could clear the scene.
