Northeast Dallas, TX : Woman killed in Far Northeast Dallas crash involving suspected drunken driver on Tuesday, November 25, 2014

A woman was killed late Tuesday in a four-car crash in Far Northeast Dallas involving a suspected drunken driver. Police responded to the crash around 11:16 p.m. at the intersection of Plano Road and Forest Lane. A 25-year-old man was driving eastbound on Forest Lane when he ran a red light and struck three cars driving northbound on Plano Road, Dallas police spokeswoman Tramese Andrews said. The man is expected to face a charge of intoxication manslaughter, Andrews said. A 69-year-old woman, who has not been publicly identified, was injured in the crash and transported to Medical Center of Plano, where she later died. Two others were taken to the hospital in good condition.
