Boca Raton, FL : Bicyclist, 16, injured in crash near Clint Moore Road and Oaks Club Drive on Tuesday, 14th April, 2020

A 16-year-old boy has died from injuries he sustained Tuesday in a suburban Boca Raton crash, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office reports.

Authorities say Jonathan Feltingoff, of suburban Boca Raton, was involved in a crash shortly before noon near Clint Moore Road and Oaks Club Drive.

He was taken to Delray Medical Center and died in an operating room, the sheriff’s office said Tuesday evening. According to a sheriff’s crash report, Feltingoff was riding a bicycle on the south side of Clint Moore Road when he attempted the cross in the crosswalk from south to north.

He crossed into the path of a 2013 Toyota Corrolla that was approaching the intersection from eastbound Clint Moore Road. The Toyota’s driver swerved in an attempt to avoid the collision, but crashed into the bicycle with the front driver’s side, the sheriff’s report said.
