Denton, TX : One person died following a fiery two-vehicle crash in Hickory Creek on Friday night, March 17, 2017

One person died following a fiery two-vehicle crash Friday night on southbound Interstate 35E just north of the Lake Lewisville bridge in Hickory Creek, according to Denton County Sheriff's Office spokesman Orlando Hinojosa.
The sheriff's office received the call at 8:48 p.m., he said. Hinojosa did not know whether anyone else was injured in the wreck. One vehicle caught fire during the wreck, he said.
Hinojosa did not have any identifying information for the deceased person on Friday night. The Corinth Police Department said on their Twitter page all southbound lanes on Interstate 35E were shut down.
