A Kahoka man was injured in a Friday night crash east of Wayland.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Dodge pickup driven by Todd G. Droege, 46, of Kahoka, was eastbound on U.S. 136, four miles east of Wayland, at 5:46 p.m. The patrol said the driver fell asleep and the vehicle struck a tree.

Droege, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by Clark County Ambulance to Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, Iowa, with minor injuries.
