One man is dead after a one-vehicle crash in Wilmore Borough on Saturday, authorities said.
Jerry C. Kinback, 59, of Wilmore, was driving a 2016 Ford F150 south on Route 53 around 8:30 a.m. when he lost control, crossed the center line and struck a tree, Cambria County Coroner Jeffrey Lees said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Scott Effinger.
An autopsy performed at Forensic DX in Windber showed Kinback suffered a heart attack before the crash, Lees said.
His death is being ruled natural.
The coroner’s office and police from South Fork Borough and Croyle and Summerhill townships are investigating.
Firefighters from Summerhill Township and Forest Hill EMS also responded.
