Heber Springs, AR : Bicycle rider killed in vehicle crash on Highway 337 in Heber Springs on Wednesday, February 11, 2015

A Heber Springs man was killed while riding a bicycle.

Clinton W. Pannell died as a result of the crash, according to Arkansas State Police.

The crash report states the incident happened on Arkansas Highway 110 west of Arkansas Highway 337 in Heber Springs, just before 4 p.m. Wednesday.

ASP states Pannell was going east on the highway and when he tried to avoid one vehicle, he turned into the path of another vehicle in the westbound lane causing fatal injuries.

The driver of the vehicle, David Griffin of Heber Springs, was not injured.
